United Nations Seminar Current Challenges Facing the UN First Committee: In order to commemorate the 40th anniversary of SIPRI, the Swedish Mission to the UN and SIPRI organised a lunch seminar in the United Nations on Tuesday 3 October on the theme Current challenges facing the UN First Committee. Participating were representatives from the various national delegations to the UN First Committee as well as representatives from several Non-Governmental Organizations.
