"The report was conceptualised and compiled by Mark Bromley..."
In July 2009, SEESAC achieved a major political breakthrough by securing the political support for the development of a Regional Report on Arms Exports. Government representatives of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia all agreed on the format and timetable for the publication of such a report. As a result, to date, SEESAC has published four Annual Regional Reports, providing a breakdown of the arms export activities in participating countries during 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. In the world today, a joint regional publication of this kind can only be compared to that produced by the European Union.
