Online portal "War and Peace"—Interactive information now in English.
The Information Portal "War and Peace" of the German Federal Agency for Civic Education (bpb) and BICC (Bonn International Center for Conversion) has been offering a wealth of facts and figures on war and peace for five years. The first three modules are now also available in English. They offer information on "War and violent conflict", "Peace and demobilization" and "Military capacities and means".
The German Information Portal "War and Peace" (Informationsportal Krieg und Frieden; sicherheitspolitik.bpb.de) offers a broad and descriptive access to important facts and figures on war and peace, particularly to students and teachers alike, the media but also to anyone who is politically interested. The English version now offers this information to even more target groups. On the one hand, it provides information and knowledge to English-speaking citizens of Germany, including refugees. On the other, this online service is now also available to international users.
