The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute proudly hosted the second annual SIPRI Lecture, which was held in the presence of His Majesty Carl XVI Gustaf and Her Majesty Queen Silvia.
Held on the theme 'Peace, development, human rights and gender equality–The story of my life', the lecture honoured former President of Chile HE Michelle Bachelet for her illustrious professional career dedicated to peace, the promotion of human rights and gender equality. The lecture was followed by a distinguished panel discussion and accompanied by piano performances by Professor Staffan Scheja.
