500 _aOn 12–13 May 2015, over 200 policymakers, academics and thought leaders gathered in Stockholm for the annual Stockholm Forum on Security and Development. The participants hailed from 25 countries and from 85 institutions, including 28 universities and research institutes, 30 governmental bodies, 26 civil society organizations and 5 private sector corporations. The 2015 Forum was co-hosted by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, and explored the theme of ‘Promoting Sustainable Peace.’ This report provides a brief summary of the main observations, takeaways and recommendations that emerged from each session.
